And if we might go to go all the way back some classics, I'd suggest titles like Supeope Chuugaku (you've probably heard of Go Nagai but you probably haven't heard of everything he ever did), Heart Catch Izumi-chan, and maybe Ikenai Day Dream or Paradise Gakuen if you don't mind something that gets a little more silly and/or aggressive about it.
