After collecting her thoughts and not really deciding on a plan, Angie tiptoes down the stairs to the first floor listening carefully for any human presence. The dull drone of lectures in the nearby classrooms only provides comfort inasmuch as knowing that classes still likely have a few minutes left before the bell. Ducking in and out of cover, she makes her way towards the side door of the school and to a possible escape.
She stops dead in her tracks as she hears the telltale tapping of footsteps - not one but two distinct sounds. Her escape route blocked, she has no option but to wait as backtracking at this point would expose her to the figures down the hall. Leaning over to listen in at the conversation, she is stunned as one of the class representatives relays info about a hall pass and a girl's uniform having been discovered scattered about the club rooms to one of the teachers. The voice that replies is a dead giveaway - it's not just any teacher, but the teacher of the class she was supposed to be in currently!
"Why her? Why now?" she thought in a panic, not considering that her hall pass had the classroom number written on it...
