Crouching near some bushes, I looked around. Knowing the soccer team was in front, I’d have to sneak out the side lot to get home. From there I’d have a park I could sneak through that was hopefully not too busy at this time.
With the team wandering around more of the school, and someone out to strip me nearby, I wasn’t going to stay. I was also in flight or fight mode at the moment, and I wasn’t really wasting much time dreading what was coming.
I dashed out across the lot along the side of the building. I was a bit in the open, but I didn’t see anyone around. I stopped at the corner, and looked out towards the woods ahead of me. I had a bit of a hike down there, and I’d be far from my clothes, but getting home was my only hope now.
My heart beat still raced faster than ever. My body was shaking. I was so worried. I crossed my arms across my chest, not for modesty, but out of feeling vulnerable. I just wanted to hold myself and keep calm at that moment.
No one was in sight though, so I quickly dashed into the forest…
