The problem is when it does not work, or when it is very difficult to do the same thing. I've produced a split off, physics enabled hair in a few minutes in Blender, exported it back out to PMX and it works well. A few minutes anon, is it worth avoiding better tools just because they're sentimental to you?
I don't hate PMX, I hate working inefficiently. PMX editor tools are not efficient.
