Korean manwha typically reflect korean school culture unless it was written to emulate the japanese one. In this manwha, it is the more brusque korean. In all Japan or most of the USA's schools, grabbing a girl (especially an injured one) is not done.
The other aspect of the male MC being annoying is not cultural, but is probably plot required. If he started out like the usual MC, it would cause the other chars to look more mean than they are tough-minded and competitive alphas (especially Satellizer). It's a fine line to pass off blood sports as tough competitive training and NOT mean-spirited.
Unfortunately, by episode 6 the male MC is still behaving annoyingly, so a different explanation may be needed. *grumble* Maybe the reason why the male MC doesn't change is because it is a self-insert char representing the author and Satellizer as the dream girl. Those of you who have pre-read a large number of fan-fics may have noticed the plotting similarity. In any case, if it was a self-insert, it would explain a lot of things, expecially the over emphasis on Satellizer's clothing and shoes in the OP/ED.
