She puts on her new outfit for the first time and discovers it's way (skimpier/flimsier/malfunction prone/otherwise riskier) than she thought. So she hurries to do something about it, but discovers it's too late and now all she can do is be as careful as she can and try to get through the whole (game/show/tournament/whatever excuse for an audience we're using this time). And for that final moment of helpless dread she suddenly catches sight of the trap that her (nemesis/bully/bullying victim/clumsy teammate/pervy stalker/whoever we're using as an excuse to arrange things this time) has (intentionally or otherwise) set and her final desperate attempt to some avoid the worst of it only makes her exposure even more complete than anyone could have ever expected.
