Best case is an open ended off into the sunset ending. Of the main cast though she was easily the strongest so losing her would really add for some cheap drama and they'd have to force a way to get Takashi to bond with Roach. But then again on the other hand the girls are the selling point and she was far and away the most popular one, like it wasn't even a contest. Go to any fanart site and she'll have almost more hits alone than the rest of the girls combined. So hard to say how it would have gone down.
