>>2785443So what I do to fix missing fingers or thumbs, is select another thumb or finger in the picture, copy it, flip it horizontally if it's moving across the picture, and then use transform skew, distort etc. to get the perspective right. From there I just start painting over the surrounding areas that are sloppy with content aware fill and paintbrush, blur, smudge, etc. I copy little pieces of hair and move that around to continue existing strands of hair
If you'll notice here the new thumb isn't quite right because it's lighter than the surrounding hand. I didn't want to lose picture quality/resolution so I stopped, but it could be taken a step further with color correction there, it's just a little difficult for me.
