I looked out the doorway. I could see the empty hall, just my head poking out. I didn’t see my skirt, but I figured it’d be out there somewhere.
Since no one seemed to be around, I had to do it. I wasn’t about to walk home the way I was, or wait for the next day either.
So I slowly stepped out into the hall. I moved slow, I didn’t want to be too obvious.
