I think the reason people failing at basics is other people tries to make things way too advanced.
For starters no one should start with comfy ui, use vpred models and learn about rescaling an shit.

Problem is, I believe, new people wants to know how to do a naked picture of their favorite anime girl and people giving them advice are just trying to show up their deep knowledge and show how absolutely amazing pictures they do thanks to their settings folded over 1000 times.
