>>1492092I was reading on this earlier today after I tried deleting them from my selection menu. It seems there are still many bugs to work out with the system itself so the safest bet is to simply de-select the ones you don't wish to use and refrain from deleting/altering/or otherwise messing with the default mascots. It's a pain having to scroll past them and all but it's the only feasible solution I have come across so far.
Also, don't load more than 50 mascots into the selection menu, it causes problems. The link in the opening post also contains a messageboard to post issues with the script through github, scripting is outside my field of expertise so any technical questions will have to be asked by the devs of the script. You can also report bugs and the like if you so choose.
