D) Jess the Cleric has been a member of the Purple Rose Convent for all of her life and has never seen a real man, just drawings and written descriptions. After the (cliched) destruction of her home she has set off to discover the world. And see if men are as dastardly as she was taught.
She wields mostly support and healing magics, although if the scene gets really dire she does have access to "Holy" which will generally blow everything away. Everything. No exception. It was written into the bylaws.
As a cleric she has a short stave. Sometimes she projects a personality onto it so she can talk to someone while otherwise alone.
4) She has recently descended from the mountains where her convent was isolated from the rest of the world. She discovered a small town at the base of the mountain, and it appears that an endless desert extends in all directions, apart from the mountain range behind her.
