>>2691135Tried my hand at translating it. (MTL) I think I've got it mostly working using
https://github.com/EusthEnoptEron/RaiLTools and creating a custom parser model in Translator++, but the one caveat is that
1) The engine will automatically wrap any line longer than 40 characters at the 41st character
2) Any time more text than can fit into the message box shows up, an annoying error box will show. This doesn't actually crash the game, and you just need to hit enter to dismiss it, but it is annoying and will knock you out of fullscreen or stop your skip, and since English tends to use more characters than Japanese this happens a LOT.
3) I couldn't find any way to insert new lines into the script without breaking it, using these tools. (Though if someone knows a way I'd be very happy to know.)
So anyway this would have really sucked but thanks to the fact that I found a tag in the script to shrink the text down really tiny I just modified my parser model to automatically apply this to any text blocks that would otherwise overflow, as well as applying some proper line wrapping. There is only really one size that I can use though (that I could find) and it is indeed pretty tiny, which might be problematic for people playing in windowed mode, though I think it's not THAT bad in fullscreen.
Also some lines will still break and show an error regardless since sometimes new text will be appended to the current block without any indication in the parsed script files railiar gives me (as far as I can tell) though at least you shouldn't see as many of them. No promises it won't crash or cause weird script jumping errors since I've never worked with this engine before but I'll test it out a little bit more and post the patch later in case anyone is interested.
