>>1838621you drowsily cast ignite to create a small flame on the tip of your finger, which illuminates your small tent. You take a look at your backpack and OH SWEET LORD BEOLOCH OL that is the biggest caterpillar you have ever seen! this is so creepy its in your backpack touching your stuff! TOUCHING IT! Oh jeez how do you even approach this thing, it’s the size of a cat and so slimy! You are about to freak out, what if its eating something important?! you have to act fast, in one smooth motion you pick it up by its sides and throw it out of your tent. Inspecting the damage you luckily find none of your food has been eaten, but it looks like your spare pairs of trousers are no more than slimy rags, and there's a big hole in one of your spare shirts that would leave the underside of your breasts exposed.
its not all that bad, you still have a full set of clothes and its not that long till the nearest town. only six more days of this. you look back at that path that brought you here, it looks so nice right now but you feel the need to press foreword, clearly this clearing was not the best place to set up camp. you ponder finding a better place to sleep or simply walking through the night, either way you cant stick around here. hell before you could even finish that thought the dang caterpillar is back in your tent. perhaps you judged the thing to harshly when you first saw it... it does look kinda cute by a certain twisted definition, and its not like the thing is dangerous. just big! either way you pack up your camp, clothe yourself, and move out. its the middle of night, that means nothing bigger than that bug should be out right? you certainly hope so. you use the light of your ignite spell once again as you step into the black forest, as you move from that seemingly safe spot you realize the sounds going on around you. the buzzing of insects, the croaking of frogs, the creaking of tree limbs heavy with vines as well as less immobile life.
