3 Questions to start making the world:
1.-RPG mechanics:
a) Everywhere! Everyone knows what HP is, stats are well known; you have a class and weapon dealers advertise with numerical values. Think Shield Hero.
b) Moderate. There are concepts like classes and class changes, skills, levels and schools of magic that are widely known; little else.
c) Obscure. Magic is only known to the practicing mages. Skills are learned by own merits. There are no fixed classes and readily available and there is no such thing as experience or levels. You just get stronger over time.
2.-Starting race!
>>2345493Human, Dwarf, Elf, Half-Elf, Half-Demon, Dark Elf or Beast Tribes. Will affect starting attributes, location and archetypes.
3.-Tone:
=) Silly and easygoing. Death is not really permanent thanks to easily available magic, defeats are usually comical, most enemies are not even needed to be fought as juts outsmarted; destiny loves the heroine and everything works out in the end.
=| Neutral. Bad things happen, stakes are real, defeats are a setback and recovering is not as easy. Emotional moments are more intense but so are the risks. There is some humor but first and foremost is being alive.
=( Dark. Hey, people die; tragedies happen. Who's going to stop it, you? Your funeral. The world is a hard place, there are no real villains; everyone has a reason to do what they do and we're all fighting for survival. The stakes are the highest; defeat means someone dies.
