Those who complained about girls and women not being fashionably thin started the whole problem in the first place. The other problem was that those who post complaints should follow the "tradition" of including on-topic images so as not to derail the thread with their complaints (unless that was their purpose).
As for why pregnancy matters, it's that many of the anti-fat "real girls must be thin" crowd seemed to lump females in early pregnancy into the fat category. Thus, the non-fashionable non-thin all-natural organic nature of pregnant women with swelling breasts and child-birthing hips is relevant to the thread's topic than the complaints about girls not being fashionably thin.
