>>2206570A1, I want to get back to Jill and Melanie.
I'm good with a policy of an /e/ option(s) every update, much like your policy of including an escape clause for any situation players might be bored of, since it means players always have a way to direct the plot to the lewds, but I worry that codifying a system of two options, /e/ and /e/ setup, might make the system more rigid and make things like the emotional side - not the core of the story but very valuable for things like increasing player investment - harder to display. Time will tell, though, and you've always got the old system as a backup.
I can also see, in the worst case casual voters finding the new format unintuitive, since the separation of A and B imply two discrete votes when they're actually mutually exclusive.
Maybe something like this could be better, showing that A and B are mutually exclusive and showing the sub-options to choose between as well:
A
B
A1
A2
A3
B1
B2
B3
B4
B5
