Somewhere along the way I picked up an "Eromaro-inspired" Helena mod on loverslab that someone made. I can't trace it back to the original modder but I uploaded my Helena folder if you wanna try using it.
In fact, if you figure out how to enable bush, please let me know. The included instructions worked for me 20 minutes ago, but when I restarted the game to take some higher-res shots, I am left bushless, and the instructions now have no effect.
