As for 2D feet, call me a fucking scrub, but it was when I first started watching Inuyasha when I was like 11 or 12. I was just enamored with Kagome, and the first episodes where she was barefoot a lot just turned me on a fuckton. And then there was that credit sequence that showed a close up up Kikyo's bare feet in the water. And then Sango entered the picture with her always wearing sandals. And I don't have to mention Kagura.
Inuyasha may be shitty filler shit, but damn did it cater to footfags like myself. It showed me the glory that is 2D feet, and I can't thank it enough for that.
