Slice of life in a giant rotating space colony
We follow the few permanent inhabitant.
The main point would be the extreme scientific realism of the story of this comfy space colony which is attached by a space elevator to the moon of Europa.
This colony have a long history,
Originally built as a habit-industry for a small crew to process ice mined from Europa, for use as spaceship propellant.
When the new industrial-station was put on line, the colony interior was stripped clean of most of its internal structure.
Reusing the massive hulls was difficult
The colonies for proper habitation were already built and sent from Earth, bringing farmable soils and others complex furniture from Earth would have been astonishingly costly, time consuming let alone the workforce.
But as such the colony hydroponic could only sustain a small population.
The decision for the future of the colony was made during a period of strike from the workers in the colonies who were going crazy. The habitation colony had been treated as mostly housing with no room for entertainment.
During that time the workers were already flooding section of the colony with hot water, using it as a makeshift pool.
This what led the Solar-Government to the decision of making the colony a full-blown tropical paradise.
Using the only resources easily accessible the entire ring became water and sandy isles.
Water flow everywhere, it is necessary for station stability and in many circulation tunnel which were originally conveyor for defrosting ice, the original access tunnel became too small for the constant stream of tourist.
The colony is know for its legendary 0 to 0.8G waterslide with a direct view of Jupiter.
This is also why everyone wear swimsuit all the time.

Mankind is not immortally young looking and the population shifted to 65% females (astonishingly not solving every problem like war)
