Generally you should be looking looking for a classic Tolkienian elf, with aryan features (tall, blonde hair, fair skin, etc) as well as other traits such as jewelry, weapons (especially bows & daggers) and generally European medieval fantasy themes. Of course variations exist and not everyone agrees with these parts, except the pointy ears.
