>>2557984This is the dieting guy, I've been in the habit of doing both callisthenic and resistance exercise every morning since long before trying this, and I know a lot about dieting and exercise myself from 5+ years of trial and error with my body. Love knowing that there's another gymbro in here btw. I don't know whether most of it was water weight or not but my weight has pretty much leveled out now, but looking back on it, cutting carbs did have the expected effect of unintentionally, drastically cutting calories, so that was likely the cause, I'm eating a lot more protein and saturated fats now to fill that calorie deficit after having noticed it. My theory going into it was that if I could find an easy dopamine boost other than sugar (that wasn't unhealthy of course) to indulge in every time I got a craving, then all my problems with withdrawal would be solved, and it worked spectacularly.
