While I had liked many artists from the 1990's and early 2000 years, most seemed to use the "coloring book" approach - draw some lines and then fill between them with gradient colour. Carnelian is one of my favourites from that time due to a variety of imaginative (if slightly impossible) poses for her main pieces.
