If you dont like the gen you stop before it reaches there and thats it.
I dont think there is any reason to not send the gens to ad by default.
The only reason I can think is to save a bit of time if you do a batch, so you only have to afterdetail later the one or two gens you liked instead of 20. But in that case, if you are leaving it to generate 20 pics while you are away there is no point in saving a few minutes either
