If you repost private content when no one is requesting, you shouldn't expect anything in return unless you are an entitled prick. I rip and upload music every comiket and don't expect anything in return because I am providing a public service to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to enjoy that content. I am not an entitled prick who gets off of people's thanks for my egotistic internet points.
Since you are bound to misinterpret more, let me give you a real life example so you can understand. If you do charity work or community service, you do it because you want to help people. Not for your ego or something in return.
