Many of the non-gay crowd have left /d/ to the point where /d/ has a population heavily biased in favour of gays. A lot of the gays say they are not gay (because they claim bisexuality), but that is also a smokescreen.
Antics like that are why places like 7chan (a more-moderated version of 4chan) has a /d/ that prohibits shemales and gay males. Instead, the gayness has been forced to use their own futanari/shemale/transvestite forum.
