However, some of you may remember Ehrgeiz, a rather poor 3D fighting came featuring a few FFVII characters, pre AC, as well as an even more mediocre dungeon crawler. Here we see Tifa in a ring battle, and her abilities are quite average at best. Putting Tifa into a fighting ring limited to Chun Li's ability, like there, it would be a fair match up. They seem about even on both Strength and Speed, and neither have range.
Now, say we put Chun Li into Tifa's world, she would undoubtedly use a hand-to-hand weapon like Tifa. Assuming she were to slot materia like Tifa, she too would gain access to those very same spells as mentioned before. They would again be on level ground, making it a fair match up.
