>>1343731Some doujinshi sellers if you google the term "doujinshi sellers"....
Before saying Valkyria has the best designs, look at OTHER non-Valkyria anime, manga, games, or memes that have inspired doujinshi to be made -- browse the doujinshi database at
doujinshi.mugimugi.orgSome collectors have opted for a different type of collecting. Instead of buying physical copies, they donate to scanlation sites. This gets a doujin cleaned, translated, edited, and released not just for that collector to enjoy, but for the rest of us to enjoy as well.
Buying doujins is usually best for the more experienced people. There's nothing like the "Oh I should have bought that one instead!" feeling a week later.
As for collecting doujinshi, I prefer scanned versions instead of printed versions. It's not that I lack experience with printed ones as I have thousands of dollars spent on just doujinshi, as well as having traveled more than once to buy media and doujins. Ignoring that it is cheaper (haha), scanned images with bright pixels are easier to view than reflected diffuse light from paper surfaces. Also, because I have a large monitor, the image that I see is larger than the actual doujin. I also don't have to hold the printed doujin. You will have to store doujins in sealed mylar or the paper will yellow and become more brittle with age due to the unbuffered paper being made with sulfites.
Yet another way to view doujins is to subscribe to a place such
doujin-moe.us or masterbloodfer. Doujin-moe has a great many translated doujins some of which it makes free, but others you have to subscribe in order to download them.
