Pictured is Miya from Sekirei season 2. She is certainly not my waifu as I have none, but she has many of the characteristics of a good spouse such as patience, wit, perseverance, humour, emotional depth, is not mean-spirited, charitable, does not whine, is not constantly angry, flexible, able to make decisions in a calm manner, is "liberated" but doesn't wave that in anyone's face, and is strong enough in character to take on life's bigger challenges. She would insist the husband take on household duties as well. CONS: risk of husband getting assassinated
>>1408849>I am aware that it has been used since 2004, it is still a word that only weeaboos use, weeaboo. If words like "waifu" or "dat ass" were not used as shorthand, the accurate description would take up several sentences describing both what they are _AND_ what they are not. "Waifu" does not have the same meaning as "wife" since that fannish term refers to a fantasy wife which may have certain personality or characteristics either undesirable or very unsuitable in a real wife. Thus, a fannish term is necessary in this case lest confusion result. The term "dat ass" is somewhat similar but has a longer description as it has extended into metaphor in any number of "dat ass" postings; that is why dat ass goes beyond the simple concept of "good looking ass". As both of these terms depict a wide variety of characters, those with rigid mindsets may find it difficult to understand the difference between "waifu" vs wife or "dat ass" vs "any good looking ass".
