But they released a side-story Databook thing, it's official, this one is all about the Espada and Arrancar. It has a flashback story to Ulquiorra when he was a Vasto Lorde, before he became an Arrancar. And it says that Halibel was healed by Orihime and survived.
I'm pretty sure Nel got healed too, she's just...like, nowhere to be seen. And is stuck as a kid again.
