>>1415806>>why is this bitch seemingly the most popular? looks so genericAre you asking why people like blondes? Tsukiumi is less generic than Saber with a wide range of actions, motions, abilities, and weapons. However, Tsukiumi cannot beat an Excalibur + Scabbard combo. What you take away from your experience of an anime show also depends on your mood at the time, your attention span, if you like ensemble casts, your personal/political ideology, and if that type of show appeals to you.
Tsukiumi is not generic in terms of technical merit as can be seen with frame by frame advance. She also has subtle expressions and emotions to match. She also has plenty of screentime. As a strong yet tsundere char, she also appeals to fans who like that especially since she stops being tsundere at times.
Her voice actor is well-matched to the character and is unique from the other characters. Another plus is that the actors can and do sing on the soundtrack. One upcoming problem though is that Tsukiumi has the power of Tsunami. It would have been interesting to see buildings crushed and enemies one-shotted except Japan's already seen_that/done_that already.
