Rito likes Haruna, but accidentally confesses to Lala, who is a princess of the planet that took over the galaxy. Now Rito is being strongarmed into marrying Lala and becoming the next king; lots of aliens are trying to kill him, lots of girls (alien and otherwise) want his junk for no apparent reason, oh, and if he's at any point deemed unworthy, Earth will be destroyed.
