While she is hot, do the Japenese really think she looks more Japanese, rather than Caucasian? I'm wondering the same about characters like Kirino Kousaka (it was especially funny when she went to the U.S. and couldn't fit in even though she looks more White than most Americans), and many, many more I've seen.
There are of course many characters that actually look Japanese (especially generic male leads tend to, unsurprisingly).
