>>1474701There're different techniques, opinions and, most important, tastes: you can either favor colder or warmer tones, tanned or dark brown skins, more or less saturated/contrasted pics, etc. (For example, I don't particularly like the browning style of the OP, but many others do).
I can tell you what I usually do, with Photoshop:
- first of all you have to "mask" everything you want to change: of course you'll want to change skin color, but you might want to also adjust tones and saturation of every other element (clothes, accessories, hair, bckground, etc.)
- once I got a skin layer, I either use "Color" with the "Hue/Saturation" tool or the "Gradient Map"
- duplicate this layer and play with the blend modes
- to highlight brighter areas, use one or more layer masks on a brigheter layer and blend it with something like "Linead Dodge" or similar
