Hey /e/

Just getting into Hental and all that stuff. I wanted to start a pantie thread on /h/ and got sent here ... awesome stuff btw, but I'm a little confused what's the difference between hentai and ecchi -- does ecchi mean something?

Ecchi (エッチ etchi) is the Japanese pronunciation of the roman alphabet letter H, which in Japan denotes pornography of any kind. Basically, what he's saying it that hentai is, y'know, the regular porn. Ecchi is more like a striptease, a foreplay.
