Well, yes a little.
I lost my saves, and recreated everything using saved codes.
Gilly changed the most. Either out of laziness or the desire to convey that they actually change clothes, I didn't correct the transition errors.
Though Gilly's necklace IS absent from pages 2-1 through 2-11.

Are the changes for the worse?

I honestly thought you changed Gilly's face or something. It could have just been not recognizing them after so long, or the fact that Gilly was using different facial expressions (like in >>1644521 and >>1644944).

Other than that, Claire's mood change has me curious.

(She's also about as loud as I am irl.)

As far as the expressions, well, in '521 I chose a mouth that I felt seemed awe-inspired, to convey how impressed she was with her own crude drawing.
And in '944 I wanted a round mouth the emphasize the "ooo" sound she was elongating in "Duuuiiiing'?" I wanted to make it seem like she had her nose pretty much almost-to VP's nose, but the inability to move her neck or reorient her head made it difficult.

I don't see either expression as unfitting, but with the feedback in mind, I can see about choosing her future expressions more carefully, and being more consistent to what was previously established.

Considering I have a habit at my job at looking at the same type of part hundreds of times ad nauseum, then doing a double take at a specific point of it and going "Was this ALWAYS supposed to be like that?", I think it'll be find to continue doing things the way you're doing them now. :P

Ok, so Ive got quite a bit of saves on the http://pochi.x.fc2.com/k_kisekae2.html version of the game, but it seems to have stopped getting updates or something. Is there a way to transfer saves over to the new version?

Head isnt round enough

You need to really mess around with her eyes, maybe even fiddle with the pupil size. The art style in Lain isnt like a majority of anime, the eyes are very different

I did some digging in my cache and it seems that the way the flash is layed out has been changed. I made a new offline version for you g/e/ntlemen. I updated the read me file to have the right links. Now if somebody can find out where the saves are located if you use "k_kisekae.html" to open the offline version that'd be helpful.

on macs they're under /Users/[USERNAME]/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/[weird string]/localhost

I know there's a similar path for windows, but i'm not sure what it is. if you know where the online saves are, there's probably a local or localhost file under the same directory where your pochi.lix.jp folder is.

About the same place they are when you look for them in the online version. Instead of going to the folder with the flash's website, however, go to localhost. You'll hit a bit of deja vu when you have to open the Users and "whatever the folder that comes after users is on your comp" folder. Then for me (since I keep it all on my desktop), I would click desktop, but there should be a folder that mimics the name of whatever folder you keep your kisekae folder in.

Yeah, I know where to find it if I'm using "k_kisekae.swf" but if you instead use "k_kisekae.html" it saves them someplace else. I only care because if you use "k_kisekae.html" it gets rid of that pesky "no data" error.

Now, when I went to transfer my saves, my old offline version had a k_kisekae.swf folder, and a k_kisekae_swf folder. I assume that would be the difference? I dunno.

Thanks for the updated information regarding the Offline version.

As for your question, the my_data files from what I can gather are the from the same directory when utilized in either the .html or .swf version of the flash.

The string for windows computers is very similar to Macs, however instead of Library you go into the Appdata folder (which is hidden) and then go into the roaming folder. Find the macromedia folder and the rest is virtually identical to the Mac version. From localhost you simply follow the links to where the flash is located on your computer. But I'm sure you're well aware of this.

One thing I did notice is the my_data location will not appear unless something is already saved in the flash, so if you wish to transfer your data from one version to another, you need to make a save in the version you want to transfer the data to first.

Progress is slower than intended.

I spent most of the interim just trying to come up with a way to integrate Claire into the club that didn't upset my conscience.

I think I came up with one, but it'll have to wait until the weekend. Here's the paltry two pages I was able to make.

Being able to shift the ahoge to the background of a character is my least favourite update ever.

I changed Gilly's outfit back to the way it was in chapter one, shortened Claire's spats, and replaced her dimples(?) with freckles-- all per feedback. I'll also probably return VP's T-shirt back to black, as it's now the same colour as Gilly's.

TFW you have the perfect pose/face in your saves but can't find it.

And, if you guess the anime pictured in VP's thought bubble, you win the prize for being the best at making up anime.

I'm not dead set on anything yet, but right now the cosplays I'm considering possibly maybe perhaps doing are Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, Highschool of the Dead, or checking out Kill la Kill designs to hear what the hubbub is about. Though I'm always happy to crowd-source cosplays instead.

Anyway, earphones are separate from earrings now. You can also click on the headphones to have your girl's wear them on their neck.

Also, a BUNCH of new earrings were added. We went from 8 (four of the twelve listed were earphones), to 37.

I haven't actually seen much of anything in the way of anime lately, so I don't have much in the way of suggestions. The most anime thing I've done is played Senran Kagura... and most of those outfits are really complicated for Kisekae without heavy photoshop.

I shall explain the setup these elf girls had to transfer to an all girls school in human world because they didn't read past the get out of school for 2 years line. When updating the game manually, how do you avoid a "no data" error? I downloaded all the swf files and stuff and put them in the proper folders, but I always get "no data" since the latest update or two.

You'll always get a "No Data" error, unless you open the .html. The "No Data" is from the flash trying to read a URL that isn't there if you open the .swf directly.

An update since this has added more .swf files. There's 14 in the folder, now. The new ones seem to be mune_m.swf and peni.swf

Despite downloading these new files, the updated version gets stuck during loading and won't continue. I suspect there's another .swf somewhere that isn't showing up where I find them, since the live website works for me.

I haven't been back to these threads in months, nice to see you guys are still active. I'm really digging the x-mas outfits.

So the last time I spent ALL day working on a picture for you guys, no one seemed to notice it. Oh well, I suppose. This time I've spent only MOST of the day working on some christmas themed pics to share with you guys.

Not the guy you responded to but your butts (heh) seem kinda flat and droopy.
I think it's because they don't have much indication of plumpness besides the gluteal folds.
Maybe something like adding indications of roundness at the top of the butt or bringing in the gluteal folds for a tighter butt will make those oshiris more sugoi.
