These aren't just patrols. These are, by and large, solo ops behind enemy lines in hostile environments with no backup, little support, no rest, and constant threat of mortal danger. And these are just the missions we see.
She is, at the very least, a seasoned veteran soldier. It's more likely that she's a supersoldier with at least 9 Medal of Honor-grade fights under her belt who lost her family at age 3, was raised by the Chozo to be a soldier from there, entered into the military, and then became a literal one-person army. With as many people she's killed and as many times she's been forced to directly confront - and sometimes kill - the cause of her childhood trauma, the term 'thousand yard stare' probably doesn't even come close to describing her face.
>>1687000Kinda the point. Nudity is crude; fanservice has an elegance to it. I should specify that wen I say 'shower scene', I don't mean slightly open mouth, arched backs, pert breasts, and posing. I mean literally trying to scrub your skin off after an eleven-hour workout to try and get the sweat and the war off yourself after killing hundreds, if not thousands, of living creatures.
