Her ship is carrying an object of great importance, so she's trying to sneak away, when she's caught by the Empires goons. Realizing that she must have a bug on her somewhere she responds by... running back to her cabin and stripping out of all her clothes.
Meanwhile, the guy chasing her, who is also an idiot, manifests aboard her ship thanks to the tracking device (I guess). And then he gets distracted by her stripping. She discovers that the bug is in the expensive new panties she just bought, and so is rather put out. Anyway, after the two confront each other, she destroys the bug and her expensive underwear, remembers that her ship is under attack and so stuffs herself into a cryotube while her ship is crashing on a planet that just happens to be full of idiots.
This anime has a bit of an idiot theme going on.
