A Vocaloid anime for one would just be an elaborate fanfic, and two it takes away that which makes the Vocaloids unique, it would give them a personality and thus ruin the fun of making say, Miku, however you want to see her. This affects the usage of Vocaloids in music as many different producers see her in many different ways and having an anime would cause confusion if say they took the personality Mitchie M gives her when Camellia produces an album. Now imagine all the newfags that would post everywhere stupid shit like "That's not the REAL Miku! You're ruining the REAL Miku". Now who's supposed to do her voice? Use the program? Why not just hire Saki Fujita? But of course that wouldn't be as "cool".
