I save a lot of pictures. Sometimes I go through my folders to organise them and delete pictures that I may have saved on a whim but probably wouldn't fap to - and when I do this it either results in me fapping to a picture or it serves as stimulus and I end up picking something else (like a movie or doujin or whatever)

This is one of the first pictures I remember saving. (Probably wasn't the first one, just one of the first I can remember)

I do something similar. I really like having all my shit organized. Every once in a while I'll look through the content because it's just pleasing to me. I barely ever fap to it unless it's a doujin.

There are times when I'm gone from home due to business trips and it's stuff like this that always keeps me positive around others.

Perhaps this is pathetic, but I've even put some work into maintaining/building my library. There's a whole system in place. Every image I want to save I open in a new tab. I use a chrome extension to download each open tab to a single directory. I have a Python script that goes through each image in the directory and displays it, and I give it a tag. The script moves the image to the directory corresponding to the tag. If there are multiple tags it creates hard links in successive directories. Then every once in a while I go through with a duplicate image detector and delete stuff that I have multiple copies of.

I save the ones I like and organise them into folders. If I see a good thread I'll use DownloadThemAll to put them all into a folder, and then go through later deleting any rubbish. Sometimes I go through all my folders, cherry pick the best images, and add them into the backgrounds folder which rotates as desktop background. But only when I'm living alone.

I've got a somewhat looser organization system - most pics with only one girl go into a safe, questionable, or explicit directory. It's somewhat more prudish than the boorus' rating system: safe means clothes on, questionable means clothes off, explicit means masturbation or toys, anything more lewd that that doesn't get saved.

Yuri pics also get their own s/q/e folders. Hetero pics are based on the girl's age: loli, teen, or ara ara~ (the boy is almost always shota so that doesn't matter). Boys-only images are sorted by 1boy/2boy/1trap/2trap.

I use pixiv and 4chan to find new fap material, save the ones that stimulate me, bookmark (on pixiv) the best of my findings. I throw all of 'em into one unorganized sallad of images, only putting doujins in their own folders and having one folder for anime/manga wallpapers (which are all SFW) and one for cuteness, which I use when I draw (which I rarely do) to guide me.

The few times I've made use of my collection has been when my internet has been cut out, or when I've needed to jerk one out quickly but didn't have the time to browse the net to find material to "assist" me.
