And then we'd get merged with /c/, which will probably end up happening eventually anyhow.
Personally, I just hide a lot of threads. Anything that looks stupid, or has less than one image/day on average, hidden. I don't have to look at it, I don't have to be disappointed or angry because of it, and if I do happen to feel like starting a new thread, anyone who thinks I'm going to go adding to a thread that just had a goddamn birthday can go fuck a cactus.
Thread birthdays are nothing to celebrate. In 4chan time, a thread that lives for a full year is older than Professor Farnsworth.
