So, if given the choice, would you:
A: Maintain /e/'s elitism, but at the expense of shunning newcomers, discouraging participation, slowing the board to even slower than it already is, and posting absolutely nothing save for new or obscenely rare images;
Or B: Newcomers are welcomed into the community, given resources and encouraged to participate, and board circulation and civil discourse takes place; but at the expense of spamming the board with old shit.

Not everyone here has been around for the same amount of time. And some of those who have have had lost computers and collections over time.
Exposing even just a single newcomer to a database filled with "the same old shit" that's been circulating for decades is, in my opinion, the most profoundly beneficial thing anyone can do for /e/.
