Congratulations on your first post!
Unfortunately, as it is right now it's a little lacking.
Here are three quick tips to get you from a lurker posting his/her first thread to a dedicated contributor.
1) Let's start by reading the board rules sticky.
>>1436774Specifically the part about requests.
>- Requests. All requests go in /r/. Do not post requests here unless you have at least 6 pictures related to what you're requesting. In other words, until the OP has posted six or more images, a thread is considered a request, which is considered a board rule violation.
In addition, it's considered polite to scan the board prior to posting a new thread. There's a pettanko thread here.
>>1772978So, if you want to meet (or preferably surpass) the image requirement, you'll need more pictures.
2) Try out one of the booru sites. Here's a link for you to follow.
http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?utf8=%E2%9C%93&tags=pettankoSave the pictures you like, then return and post them here in your thread.
3) Lastly, let me try to change the way you think about this board. Despite what it may seem, the OP does not declare a board into existence and the community responds by selflessly filling it. Imagine if we did operate like that, this place would be a mess, there'd be more request threads than the generous community would be able to fill. Instead, the pressure is on the OP to provide content into their own thread. Because /e/ is more about giving than receiving.
That being said, let me be the first to welcome you to /e/!
