Congratulations on your first thread!
Looks like there were a few of you new faces while I was at work. Or maybe just the same one three times. Either way, here comes the welcome treatment.
So you post a thread and all you got was one poster directing you back to the rules, what went wrong? The rule Anon is referring to
>>1436774 specifies against making request threads. I know you probably don't think of your thread as a request thread, but let me present it another way. When you make a thread to share your Fang-Tan folder with /e/, that's fine. When you make a thread where /e/ fills your Fang-Tan folder FOR you, that's not. See the distinction?
Luckily, there's a very simple work-around. The rules go on by saying a request thread can be made if it meets the absurdly low six-image-post-minimum. Lucky break huh? All you need is five more images?
Only have the one picture? Not a problem either. If you can't find more from lurking, try the boorus. See if five of the 57,000 fang pictures on danbooru suits your fancy.
http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?utf8=%E2%9C%93&tags=fang. Then post the ones you like back here.
Lastly, I want to reassure you that you're not the first to make this mistake. You see an Opening Post that says "<Blank> thread Go!", and under it you see dozens of relevant pictures. You naturally assume the OP posted the former and everyone else posted the latter. But that's a common misconception. It's often the OP who posted most of that content, at least to start with anyway. /e/ isn't a place where we beg for content from one another, it's a place where we share it FOR one another.
With that out of the way, let me be the first to welcome you to /e/~!
