Btw, voice acting is the only one thing which making dubs awful (not mentioning about the fact that murican VAs can't even pronounce japanese names correcttly), as I mentioned above. Translations are ALWAYS awful, totally simplified, with cut off cultural nuances, changed dialogues and personalities.
And watching dubs is dumb idea in general imo. I always thought that dubs are made only for kids, because their brains aren't capable to process for example multi layered humour which is soaked with Japanese culture.
Of course it doesn't apply only for anime. I'm always watching movies with original voice acting, because dubs are usually shitty and have terrible translations. Yes, Murican mivies too (but I'm watching only older stuff)
I think this is something that many American people will never understand.
PS I'm not trying to convince you for watching original work, just please don't write totally bullshit posts that dubs are even close to original work.
