I'm sure there are things you liked as a kid that you still like now. For example, your taste in music.
drawn artwork can bring out idealized traits and downplay ones you don't care for.
For example, a lot of people like ridiculously huge breasts that have a certain shape, which is damned impossible in real life. Drawn artwork lets them have this.
Other people like tight-fitting clothes, but on a real person it just doesn't look right.
Basically the same reason people still use animation instead of live action to tell certain stories is also the same reason some people still enjoy drawn porn: There are more possibilities than there are with a real person.
And y'know what? That's perfectly fine. I'd much rather have someone lusting over a picture than trying to inflict it upon a real person.
