Lars is Basara's homie, but takes the Marshawn Lynch "I'm just here so I don't get fined" approach to acting as the emissary to the Village on behalf of both the Leohart and moderate factions of the demons. He would much rather be doing some type of espionage. Celis is still "Japanese Heroes are perpetual fuck ups" and the Village really belongs to the Vatican. Therefore observation of Basara and company belongs to them. Shiba appears at ceremonial hall and everyone gets shaken up. He takes offense to all the shit Celis had been saying and starts to go on a power trip. He really gives zero fucks and tries to kill Basara. Celis, Yuki, and Kurumi all jump in to protect Basara. Celis' true rank of "Vatican Holy Knight" gets exposed. After they stop Shiba's attack, Basara decides to handle Shiba.

There's been so many borderline h anime Ova throughout the years that have been so graphic in content and that's been way more lewd than Shinmai, which is why I'm so disappointed in how IMS handled the series, which is also borderline h. Series like Aki-Sora, Rescue Me!, and Nozoki Ana is what Shinmai should've been like. Like those series it should be close to hentai but never quite hentai and should use camera angles to show the sexual acts without showing genitals. They would probably get away with showing semen as well, I don't know if there was ever a restriction on that though

The main problem was that IMS wanted to put the show on tv instead of making them ovas. The series should have been made into a collection of maybe about 3-4 ova per volume with each collection of ova coming out maybe every 6-7 months in between each other, so that they have time to really work on them and to give time for the LN to give them content to work with. With OVA they could've been as smutty as they liked and didn't have to hold any punches. Though the OVAs would take longer to come out the content would make up for it. People would probably even buy these more than they did the BDs.

IMS never did that well in its animation anyway. The animation didn't always look that good, girls never had the same eroticism as they do in the LN, and the body sizes changed almost every other scene, some of the girls breasts were way smaller than they should be at some points. The worst part was the way they animated the nipples for the girls.

None of the girls looked sexy in the anime which is a huge disappointment when you consider how hot the LN makes them look, some animators can never truly capture the amazing artwork displayed in the source material.
