>>2056852Well I guess ecchi anime like the rest of the animation industry in Japan is going through some serious "soul searching".
They are finally starting to accept that the business models they have been using for 30 years just don't apply anymore. And their plan to have the hardcore Otaku types fill in the money lose gap by offering special outside merchandise and those $200 "uncensored blueray box-sets" isn't working well enough.
Not to mention that lately the Japanese government is hitting these markets hard with all these new puritan type laws.
So who knows what the future will hold. But I would tend to agree that for the most part the in your face tit shaking, pantie flashing, ecchi anime that many of us grew up with are probably going the way of the dodo.
