Presumably, Kaiten is easier when the emission of chakra through your chakra points isn't blocked by clothing. Maybe Hinata had undressed in order to practice (and fail at) Kaiten, and then decided to do some freestyle dancing at the end of her training routine.
Also, maybe her chakra nature is water, and having as much skin as possible in contact with water as you meditate on your chakra is a chakra-control exercise. Casual, freestyle dancing could be a form of meditation.
