I mostly agree with that, although once it becomes more the girl attached to giant flesh blobs that's when it becomes pointless.
If they look like the size of beanbags that a normal person would sit in, I'm down for that as that also means there is still mobility and a reasonable sense of scale but going much bigger than that and that's when I just don't care anymore
